CALUNAH President Message Distinguished Alumni and Friends of the Adventist University of Haiti: As you may know, I have served as the chairman of the executive committee of CALUNAH for two years, from 2007-2009. In August 2009, I was nominated by the Board of Directors to serve for two more years. Therefore, for the next two years, I will serve again as president of CALUNAH whose central office is in New York. During my first two years, thanks to the hard work, cooperation, patriotism of the committee members and the South Florida and Montreal, Canada Chapter presidents and you, our faithful supporters, we were able to accomplish the following of which we are proud:
For the next two years our objectives are the following:
All these goals are achievable with your support and your determination to be judged by history as a group of proud, patriotic, and loyal people who helped make a difference in the life of a school that gave us so much and to which we are all indebted. We thank you for what you have done in the past because if we were able to help the school complete some of its projects, it was because of your generosity. Therefore, we know we can continue to count on you so that the objectives we want to accomplish within the next two years can become a reality. At the end, we will be able to say just like President Obama “ Yes we did”, and we will be very proud of our achievements. We thank all of you for your support, but we would like to give special thanks to the families who have made the scholarship funds possible. A list of scholarship recipients will soon be available on the website.
We invite more families and institutions to join this movement so that we can give a helping hand to our countrymen who expect so much from us. As we approach the new year, we hope that you will stay connected to the Adventist University of Haiti and will all join hands to help make this school, our alma mater, a better place. On behalf of all the members of the executive committee of CALUNAH and also in the names of all the chapter presidents in North America and Canada, and the president of the Adventist University of Haiti, I wish you a healthy and prosperous new CALUNAH Year 2010. Respectfully, Gueus Robert, President Stay connected! Help make the Adventist University of Haiti a better place! Let’s be generous toward the Adventist University of Haiti! Donate |
