Board Governance
Organizational structure and oversight policies

Executive Committee

CALUNAH is governed by a volunteer Executive Committee of 15 elected members representing diverse professional backgrounds and geographic chapters.

Chapter Network

Six active chapters operate under the national organization's bylaws, each led by an elected chapter president accountable to the Executive Committee.

Financial Oversight

The organization maintains formal financial controls, with the Executive Committee reviewing and approving all major expenditures and annual budgets.

Conflict of Interest

Executive Committee members operate under a conflict of interest policy requiring disclosure and recusal on any matters in which they hold a personal interest.

Democratic Elections

Leadership is elected by the membership on a regular cycle, ensuring broad community accountability and representation across the diaspora.

Nondiscrimination Policy

CALUNAH does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, nationality, or socioeconomic status in awarding scholarships or providing services.
